Our Mission
We at Future Thinkers want to provide a wholesome learning environment, in which children are exposed to all aspects of the learning spectrum.
Future Thinkers combines a play-based learning environment with an adult-directed learning environment; in which the child gets exposed to both self-exploration and guided learning.
At Future Thinkers, your child will have the opportunity to explore and grow, create and discover, make connections and build relationships with the child’s peers, and become confident learners in both exploration and academics.
Future Thinkers Family Child Care is participating in the Sacramento County Office of Education’s Early Learning Preschool Bridging Model Plus Program supported by First 5 Sacramento in efforts to enhance quality childcare through professional learning opportunities, the California Quality Rating Improvement Scale, Family Supports for early intervention and child development, and Community connections.
Our History
Started in April of 2019, Future Thinkers Preschool and Childcare strongly believes in providing a curriculum and play-based environment for each child. We allow children to learn and explore through play, but also have curriculum-guided activities that are developmentally appropriate. We closely observe each child, do age and stage assessments, as well as DRDP’s (Desired Results for Developmental Profile’s). DRDP’s makes sure the child is developing at their age level in all domains, such as:
Attitudes in Learning—Self-Regulation
Language in Literacy Development
English Language Development
Cognition, including Math and Science
Physical Development—Health
All Daily Reports and DRDP’s can be seen through our parent application that we provide access to during enrollment. Our goal is to make sure each child is successful academically as well as creatively.
